Urgent Maintenance

Hayden Real Estate is authorised to carry out certain urgent repairs in the event that the landlord is uncontactable.

Urgent repairs are serious problems affecting safety or security of the property, or failure of any essential service or appliance. The kinds of repairs that are covered are:

• burst water service

• blocked or broken lavatory system

• serious roof leaks

• gas leaks

• dangerous electrical faults

• serious storm, fire or flood damage

• serious fault in a lift or staircase in the rented premises.

All urgent repairs MUST be reported to the Managing Agent immediately.
