Local buyers secure luxury Ocean Grove retreat with beach access

LOCAL buyers have snapped up a luxurious Ocean Grove property with private access to the beach.

The luxury retreat at 114 Orton St sold for an undisclosed price within the asking price of $3 million to $3.3 million.

Hayden, Ocean Grove agent Hugh McKewan said it was now the highest and second highest sale recorded in Ocean Grove.

“The buyers live in Ocean Grove already, they are going to live there themselves,” Mr McKewan said.

“They are on a property and liked the fact it had space.”

The 2600sq m property has a stunning three-storey house on it filled with luxurious fittings.

Some of Australia’s finest creatives including architect John Lochhead, interior stylist Rina Cohen and landscape architect Jim Sinatra created the resort-style residence.

Floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs living area takes in extensive ocean views from Cape Schank to The Bluff.
